All in all everything was great, had a really lovely stay for three nights. The staff was ready to assist, welcoming people. The rooms were reasonably spacious in general, with dedicated balcony. A wide array of food items served for delicious and absolutely fantastic breakfast.

Extremely great and nice staff as one would expect. Its rooms are very pretty and clean with chinese style, ancient Chinese bedrooms plus normal beds as advertised.

Hotel overlooked courtyard and the room was impeccably clean and huge. I booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, a dining area, an ironing set, and a work desk. The breakfast was delicious and fantastic, had good choice of food. Its location was very central, next to Wu Temple. There was an in-house restaurant nearby. The services were excellent.

Comfortable and enchanting hotel, INCREDIBLE staff, truly enjoyed excellent location close to restaurants and the main sights, the main sights and the outskirts of ancient Pingyao, close to the city wall. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide range of different options. Food was reasonably priced and I have nothing but very relaxing memories from this trip.

the hotel was located in the heart of the city. and it was also close enough to a good restaurant and old pingyao and china for over a year and a half now. when we checked in, a double room in the style of ancient chinese bedrooms was ready.

I recently stayed at the City Wall Old House in Pingyao for a few days. The hotel is located in a beautiful traditional Chinese mansion within the city wall. The rooms, courtyard, and garden are all kept in a lovely traditional style, while still offering modern amenities. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they spoke excellent English. The in-house restaurant served delicious local dishes that could be enjoyed in the room or in the stunning garden. One unique aspect of this hotel is the presence of two dogs and a cat, which made it feel like home.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more - it was the best stay during our time in China.

The location of the hotel was excellent, situated in the center of the old town and close to everything you need to visit. The closed garden was great for the kids to play in, and the hotel was on top of a solid platform, providing a sense of security. I had an amazing stay at this charming hotel inside the old wall. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, organizing transfers from the train station and providing a map for exploring the town. Found a reasonably priced, charming old guesthouse with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The courtyard was perfect to relax and enjoy the serenity. Breakfast was delicious and free. The hotel provided beautiful tours as well.

The bed was too firm for our taste, we prefer a soft and comfy bed to ensure good rest. We also found the location a bit of a walk from the city center, but that's okay as it is still within a good distance.

The staff were amazing, always willing to help. The food in the on-site restaurant was wonderful. The family room and standard room were spacious. The courtyard garden was beautiful.

This place is located in a very quiet area in the center of the old town, just out of the busy area. The staff here is extremely kind and the service they provide is top-notch. They speak excellent English and are always willing to help. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a traditional style and are kept very clean. The amenities provided in the rooms, such as ironing facilities, air conditioning, and a mini-bar, add to the comfort of the stay. Additionally, the courtyard is a great place to relax and enjoy some quiet moments. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, and the dining restaurant offers delicious food.

I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

I had a wonderful stay at a boutique hotel with helpful and professional staff. The hotel is located close to the city's main attractions and just a short 5 to 10-minute walk to the center of the old city. The hotel facilities were clean and the breakfast was delicious. The staff went over and above expectations, providing valuable information about the area and arranging early breakfast when I checked out.
